SSC GD Recruitment 2022 Notification 24369 (Revised 45284)Constable Vacancies Age Limit
Age Limit 18-23 years as on 01-01-2023. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005 in normal course. However, after relaxation of three (03) years in upper age, the candidate should not have been born earlier than 02-01-1997.
Note: Due to unprecedented ‘Covid Pandemic’, it has been decided by the Government to grant three (03) years age relaxation beyond respective prescribed upper age limit for all categories of the candidates as one-time measure for this recruitment.

Candidates applying for GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen) must have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.- The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
- Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as on the stipulated date will not be eligible and need not apply
- The benefit of incentive/Bonus marks will only be provided to a candidate who has opted for bonus marks/ incentive for ‘NCC certificate’ in online application.

- For SC/ ST/ PWD/Ex-servicemen/Female : Rs.0/-

- Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
- Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 01-12-2022 (23:00 hours). However, candidates who wish to make the cash payment through Challan of SBI, may make the payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of the bank up to 01-12-2022 provided the Challan has been generated by them before 30-11-2022 (23:00 hours).

The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination (DME/ RME) and Document Verification.

SSC GD Recruitment 2022 Notification Online Computer Based Written Exam:
The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each, with the following composition:- All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. The computer based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
- There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
- The dates of examinations will be informed to candidates only through the website of the Commission.
