REGULAR APPOINTMENTS in Navy Children School
1. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR VICE PRINCIPAL.
(a) Academic and Professional Qualifications.
(i) Master's Degree in any of the core-subjects (being taught in the NCS) completed as a regular course with at least 60% marks from a recognised institution / university.
(ii) Bachelor of Education completed as a regular course with at least 50% marks from a recognised institution/university.
(b) Work Experience. Five years of teaching experience as PGT in reputed Senior Secondary Level public schools.
Or
Ten years combined experience of working as PGT and TGT in reputed public schools, of which at least three years should be of teaching as PGT.
(c) Desirables. Excellent communication skills in English with ability to converse in Hindi and working knowledge of using MS Office and emailing facility in administration of the school.
(d) Age limit - 35 to 45 years as on 31 Mar 23 (Age relaxable for applicants with experience in reputed institutions).
2. POST GRADUATE TEACHER (PGTs) Recruitment in Navy Children School NCS
(a) Main eligibility condition for PGT (English). Master Degree (in English) studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% (Aggregate) marks from a recognised University / Institution.
(b) Main eligibility condition for PGT (Physics). Master Degree (in Physics) studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% (Aggregate) marks from a recognised University / Institution.
(c) Main eligibility condition for PGT (Chemistry). Master Degree (in Chemistry) studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% (Aggregate) marks from a recognised University / Institution.
(d) Main eligibility condition for PGT (Business Studies) and PGT (Accountancy). Master Degree (in Commerce) studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% (Aggregate) marks from a recognised University / Institution.
(e) Common qualifications for all PGTs:-
(i) Bachelor of Education studied as a regular course with at least 50% marks from recognised Institution/ University.
(ii) Should have studied requisite subject at both Senior Secondary and Graduation levels.
(iii) Age limit - 18 to 44 years as on 31 Mar 23 (Age relaxable for applicants with experience in reputed institutions).
(iv) Preference will be given to candidates having experience of teaching in relevant subject in recognised school(s) and qualified in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)/ State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) in accordance with guidelines framed by NCTE for the purpose.
(v) Should have good personality with excellent communication skills in English and ability to communicate in Hindi.
(vi) Should have working knowledge of computer and should be proficient in using Microsoft Office software.
3. TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (TGTs) Recruitment 2023
(a) Main eligibility condition TGT (English). BA/BSc Degree studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% (Aggregate) marks with relevant subject from a recognised University / Institution.
(b) Main eligibility condition for TGT (Mathematics). Bachelors Degree studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% (Aggregate) marks with relevant subject from a recognised University / Institution.
(c) Main eligibility condition for TGT (Social Science). BA Degree studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% (Aggregate) marks with relevant subject from a recognised University / Institution.
(d) Main eligibility condition for TGT (Hindi). BA Degree studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% (Aggregate) marks with relevant subject from a recognised University / Institution.
(e) Main eligibility condition for TGT (Science). BSc Degree studied as regular course and qualified with at least 60% (Aggregate) marks with relevant subject from a recognised University / Institution.
(f) Common qualifications for all TGTs:-
(i) Bachelor of Education in relevant subject as a regular course and qualified with at least 50% marks from a recognised University/ Institution.
(ii) Should have studied relevant subject at Senior Secondary also.
(iii) Age limit - 18 to 44 years as on 31 Mar 23 (Age relaxable for applicants with experience in reputed institutions).
(iv) Preference will be given to candidates having regular Masters’ Degree in relevant subject from a recognised University and/ or experience of teaching in relevant subject in recognised school(s) and qualified in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)/ State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) in accordance with guidelines framed by NCTE for the purpose.
(v) Should have good personality with excellent communication skills in English and ability to communicate in Hindi.
(vi) Should have working knowledge of computer and should be proficient in using Microsoft Office software.
4. PRIMARY TEACHER (PRTs) in Navy Children School 2023
(a) Main eligibility condition for PRT (General). BA/ BSc/ BCom/ B Tech/ BBA Degree with at least 55% (Aggregate) marks with relevant subject completed as in a regular course from a recognised University or Institutions.
(b) Main eligibility condition for PRT (Hindi). BA/ BSc/ BCom/ B Tech/ BBA Degree with at least 55% (Aggregate) marks with relevant subject completed as in a regular course from a recognised University or Institutions.
(c) Common qualifications for all PRTs:-
(i) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) done as a regular course in the relevant subject and qualified with at least 50% marks from a recognised University/ Institution {Not Applicable for PRT (Physical Education Teacher (P.E.T)}.
(ii) Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) done as a regular course in the relevant subject and qualified with at least 50% marks from a recognised University/ Institution {Applicable for only PRT (Physical Education Teacher)}
(iii) Age limit - 18 to 44 years as on 31 Mar 23 (Age relaxable for applicants with experience in reputed institutions)..
(iv) Preference will be given to candidates having experience of teaching in reputed primary/ secondary public school(s) and qualified in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)/ State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) in accordance with guidelines framed by NCTE for the purpose.
(v) Should have good personality with excellent communication skills in English and ability to communicate in Hindi.
(vi) Should have working knowledge of computer and should be proficient in using Microsoft Office software.
5. LOWER DIVISION CLERK (LDC) - Main eligibility conditions
a) Bachelor Degree (or Equivalent qualification in Armed Forces) with adequate knowledge of clerical duties.
b) Ability to correspond independently in English.
c) Preference will be given to the candidates having at least 5 years experience in handling of office work in the rank of PO (Navy) or equivalent in Army and Air Force and/ or above ranks.
d) Good working proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power-point software.
e) Age limit - 21 to 40 years as on 31 Mar 23 (Age relaxable for applicants with experience in reputed institutions)..
(f) Proficiency in shorthand.
CONTRACTUAL APPOINTMENTS in Navy Children School
Main eligibility condition for PRT (Computer Science). BSc Degree in Computer Science or BCA or BE/B Tech (Computer Science/Information Technology) with at least 55% (Aggregate) marks with relevant subject completed as in a regular course from a recognised University/ Institution.
(b) Main eligibility condition for PRT (Physical Education Teacher). BA/ BSc/ BCom/ B Tech/ BBA Degree with at least 55% (Aggregate) marks with relevant subject completed as in a regular course from a recognised University or Institutions.
(c) Main eligibility condition for PRT (Counsellor).
(i) MA in Psychology with at least 55% (Aggregate) marks with relevant subject completed as in a regular course from a recognised University or Institutions.
(ii) Diploma/ Certificate course in Counselling.
5. Main eligibility conditions for Kindergarten Teacher (KGTs)
(a) BSc/ BA/ BCom Degree & Diploma of Montessori/ Nursery Teacher Training from recognised universities/ institutions.
(b) Age limit should be from 21 to 30 years as on 31 Mar 23 (Age relaxable for applicants with experience in reputed institutions)..
(c) Candidates should have minimum one year of relevant teaching experience.
7. Main eligibility conditions for Estate Manager (EM)
(a) Bachelor Degree (or Equivalent qualification in Armed Forces) with adequate knowledge of clerical duties.
(b) Ability to correspond independently in English.
(c) Preference will be given to the candidates having at least 5 years experience in handling of office work in the rank of PO or equivalent in Army and Air Force and/ or above ranks.
(d) Minimum 05 years experience in overall maintenance school work.
(e) Basic Computer Knowledge.
(f) Age limit - 21 to 45 years as on 31 Mar 23 (Age relaxable for applicants with experience in reputed institutions).

PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING FOR VACANCIES AT NAVY CHILDREN SCHOOL
1. Interested candidates are required to submit duly filled application forms (available at school website www.ncsvizag.edu.in) along with self-attested Photostat copies of educational qualifications, experience and co-curricular activities in the school office (Secondary Wing, NSB) between 09:00 to 13:00 hrs by 20 June 2023. Passport size photograph should also be affixed on the application form.
2. Shortlisted candidates alone will be contacted for the written test and those qualified in the Written Test only will be contacted by phone or email for interview.
3. Applicants willing to apply for multiple posts need to fill in a separate application along with all relevant documents. Shortlisted applicants must submit the examination fee of Rs 100/- (for each post) in the office on the day of written examination.
